アーティスト・イン・レジデンスArtist In Residence

アーティスト・イン・レジデンスとは、国内外から招聘されたアーティストが異なる文化を持つ国や地域に一定期間滞在し地域との交流を図りながら、創作・研究活動を行うプログラムです。公募により選出されたアーティストを招聘し長期滞在の中で創作活動を支援するレジデンス・サポートプログラムと、リサーチや制作、交流、交換を目的とし、他機関からの助成や支援をうけて短期滞在活動を行うアーティストを支援するレジデンス・フェロープログラムに分かれています。

Artist - in - Residence Program (AIR) is made up two types of program. Residence support program (RS) is long - term support program which we select several artists from among applicants and invite them. Residence fellow program (RF) is short - term one that the artists can stay AIAV up to 5 weeks. These projects provide an opportunity that artists can be engaged in working through several activities such as fieldwork, workshop, and exchange with the local.

ワークショップ&セミナーWorkshop & Seminar

ワークショップは音楽、美術、ダンスなど多数のジャンルで展開しています。対象はお子様から一般の方まで様々で、プログラムによって異なります。例えば芸術村あーとルームでは１日かあるいは2日程度の短期間でのワークショップを行っており、またその他にも約１週間程度の滞在型のワークショップなども開催します。

AIAV is carrying out music, art and dance workshops. The objects and the term depend on the program. We are offering a week workshop the type of residence, for example.

鑑賞プログラムViewing Program

音楽、演劇、ダンスやパフォーマンス、伝統芸能など様々な公演を実施するプログラムです。音楽などはクラシックから現代音楽やジャズまで幅広く展開し、またダンスやパフォーマンスも様々なジャンルで展開しています。その他ワークショップの発表公演や、レジデンスプログラムの発表公演としても実施しています。

This program presents every branch of performance such a drama, music, dance, and traditional entertainment and so on. It is Included in the presentations of workshop and residence program.

レクチャー&シンポジウムLecture & Symposium

レクチャーは、ワークショップやレジデンスなどその他のプログラムの関連イベントとして開催されたり、滞在中のアーティストの作品紹介であったり、様々な形で実施しています。また、シンポジウムは現代詩のシンポジウムのような文学的なものから美術家や音楽家、あるいは批評家や一般の方まで参加して行うものなどこちらも様々です。

Most of lectures are accompanied by a workshop, residence program and other programs. We introduce the residence artist, for example. Besides these lectures, we present various symposiums.

サポートプログラムSupport Program

山口県の芸術文化関連団体の活動のサポートを施設の提供や、スタッフによるサポートの形で行います。

AIAV are offering our facilities and staff as support for a group related to art and culture in Yamaguchi prefecture.
